We at SmartaTech are passionate about using technology correctly to make a difference to the business.
We love technology and want to see it used correctly in the companies that invest so much in it.
Technology can only be tolerated as a cost saver and a business enabler - it is not to be seen as a luxury. It is our responsibility as business-savvy technologists to ensure that the appropriate technology is installed and executed for the right things, to make the right difference to the bottom-line.
Unless we can prove this to the business, why should they care how great it is?

Years of working for large financial and telecommunications companies have shown us that much money
can be spent on expensive IT solutions, with often very little
being saved as a result, or less than optimal returns being made. This gives IT a bad name, and seen more as a pure cost centre than a utility that can drive the business forward.
It is the people
in IT that make the difference. Unless people are trained and supported to do the right job, technology, however good, will never produce a good ROI.
It is also the process
that is used to get things delivered. That is why we believe not only in teams embracing the agile principles, but also to look every existing process in the eye, and work with the business to streamline the way the company makes money.
